President Report:

The members were welcomed to the Waterford Valley tournament by the president who were playing for the Thord Lorich Trophy.  The members thanked the Waterford Club as the course was in great condition and for their hospitality.

The starters, Peter Garbellini, Chris Proctor, Harold Hayes and Roger dispatched the field from a well organized Tee schedule arranged by Capt Jeff Stevens.

There were 57 members who hit the fairways, plus one guest for the day being Graham Reynolds who received one of our complimentary club golf balls.

Our thoughts go to those with health problems and to those having operations being Gary Morland with a knee replacement and Peter Ross with a hip replacement, hoping to see you back after rehab.

During 'Brag Time', we listened to the following members Mike Hoyle, Beverly Jenkin and John Molloy boast about their efforts during the month.

Membership

We have been steadily increasing our membership over the last couple of years.  We now have 5 Life Members, 113 Playing Members, 6 Social Members and 2 current online Applicants.  29 of these members have joined through our Online Application form saving the Secretary a significant data entry task.

Next Game

Our next game is at Churchill/Waverley on Monday 29^th of March at 7.15am for the Captain/President trophy. Please book online and if you need a cart contact the club to reserve one.

Captain Jeff Stevens welcomed members to Waterford Valley Golf Club for the Thord Lorich Trophy Stableford event.

Overall winner

Geoffrey Milne (16) with 38 points won the Thord Lorich Trophy

Geoffrey received a $40 House of Golf voucher for this effort.
